In 2015, there were two company-owned units, 117 U.S. franchises, and eight units outside the U.S. Recently, the 142nd Massage Heights franchise opened in Jetton Village in Cornelius, North Carolina. Massage Heights is on target to open 40 locations this year, and the company hopes to have 300 franchises opened by the end of 2018. As part of an accelerated growth strategy, the brand plans to develop franchised locations in cities like Denver, Kansas City, Tampa-St. Petersburg, San Diego, Nashville, Knoxville, and Las Vegas.

Recently, the company recently announced that it will be refreshing its brand platform which will include a newly designed website and Retreat design. Massage Heights' new Retreat prototype will feature new renovations created to evolve the company into the next phase of life, including new waiting and shopping areas, guest-friendly massage rooms, a designated space for quick treatments, and a new design that will make for a more serene atmosphere, among other elements. The company will roll out the new look and feel through 2016, with the goal of completing the transition by next year.

In addition, this past March, Massage Heights announced it established a new brand management and development company, Elevated Brands. In addition to managing and developing Massage Heights, Elevated Brands formed a relationship with the first ultra-premium men's grooming and lifestyle club, The Gents Place, to grow the brand nationally through franchising.

The massage industry is one of the fastest growing industries, and Massage Heights continues to be a leader in this movement, earning $86.4 million in revenue and an 82 percent growth rate for the past three years. The company's 2015 Massage Heights Franchisee of the Year earned more than $1.68 million in revenue and provides services to more than 2,000 Guests. 

New Massage Heights franchisees attend five weeks of intensive training called Base Camp. In both classroom and in-retreat training, all aspects of the business are covered, including product and service knowledge, retreat operations, client communication, billing, customer service, cash management, advertising, promotions, and opening and closing procedures. In addition, there is ongoing support for the life of the franchise, as well as Massage Heights proprietary billing and scheduling software with 24/7 customer support.

The Massage Heights Family Fund was established during the fall of 2013. The Family Fund's sole purpose is to provide financial relief and assistance to Massage Heights Retreat Team Members and their families in time of need by providing assistance to those Team Members who face extraordinary challenges in their lives, such as:

• The care of a family member when at least two weeks of work are missed or work schedule must be reduced by more than 50% to care for a family member
• Relocation of children or adults to a safer environment
• Funeral expenses for a Retreat Team Member or their family member
• Temporary housing required due to catastrophe or natural disaster, such as fire, flood, hurricane or tornado
• Covering unforeseen medical expenses
