How to Become Part of the Massage Heights Franchise Family


We are growing here at Massage Heights, with new Retreats opening up around the country every month. If you have been considering becoming a new Franchise Owner within the Massage Heights family, you may be wondering what happens behind the scenes before these new Retreats open. Let us share with you the process that each of our new franchisees goes through before opening day.

Getting to Know Our Potential Franchisees

The first part of becoming a Massage Heights franchisee is the getting-to-know-each-other phase. We want to get to know about you and to tell you a little about us. This is a crucial part of the process as it gives both us and potential new Franchise Owners a chance to openly discuss whether this is a good fit for both parties. The process for this phase:

  • An initial application and franchise packet is sent out to the interested party. Once the application is filled out and submitted, we run a credit and background check, along with a financial verification. This allows us to ensure the person is a viable candidate that is serious about becoming part of our franchise family.
  • Once the application is approved, one of our recruiters contacts the potential franchisee to discuss the franchise opportunity, offering insights into the Massage Heights philosophy and exploring the motivations of the applicant.
  • If both parties are ready to move forward, the applicant then attends an Observation Day at our headquarters and one of the Retreats. During this time, the applicant will also be completing their business plan.
  • Once the business plan is complete, the potential franchisee is voted on for approval by our Franchise Approval Committee. If approved, the "get to know you" phase is over, and we begin to move on to preparing for the new Retreat opening.

Preparing for Opening Day

One of the best parts about becoming a Massage Height franchisee is the level of training and support that each member receives before and after they open their Retreat. Before the Retreat opens, we begin the five week training process. The first week of training is at our Corporate Headquarters where you learn all about becoming a new Retreat owner, from marketing and branding to running your day-to-day operations.

Weeks two through four of training are held over the next few months while your new Retreat is being prepared for opening. These training sessions will help you learn the more in-depth aspects of the Massage Heights products and services. You will learn every detail of our techniques and culture that have made us so successful.

The fifth and final week of training will be at your new Retreat, helping you and your new Team through the opening process. We will be there to make sure your grand opening is a success and that you have everything you need to build your new business.
